Hospitality & Experience Architecture

What does it mean to rethink hospitality - beyond stars and standards?

A hotel that not only accommodates, but also touches. A restaurant that not only nourishes, but creates closeness. Experience architecture as a stage for atmosphere - as an invitation to stay, to remember, to come back.

Our services

A compelling hospitality concept begins with a clear understanding of guests, operations and the location.

Through workshops and analytical exercises, we work alongside clients and operators to define target groups, requirements, usage scenarios and the strategic direction of a project. This results in viable concepts for the service offering, spatial programme, processes and guest journey – forming the basis for further spatial and design development.

Good hospitality combines a welcoming atmosphere with smooth operations.

We design hotels, restaurants, bars and venues by considering the interplay between use, space, function and operations. Public areas, quiet spaces, service areas and operational processes are viewed as an integrated system.

This results in spaces that are intuitive for guests to use, meet operational requirements and develop a distinctive spatial quality.

Hospitality starts with people.

We view the experience of a place from the perspective of its guests – from arrival, through their stay and interactions, right up to departure. Space, materials, light, colour, communication and media content all shape the perception and atmosphere. Through the interplay of our design disciplines, we create hospitality experiences that convey identity, evoke emotional responses and leave a lasting impression.

Spaces for regeneration arise from the interplay between the body, the atmosphere and how the space is used.

We design wellness and spa areas in which the sequence of spaces, materials, lighting, acoustics and varying levels of usage are precisely coordinated. This creates spaces for retreat and experience that promote tranquillity, a sense of direction and well-being, whilst also forming part of an overarching hospitality concept.

Long-term quality is demonstrated by how well design, operation and technical requirements work together.

From the very outset, we take into account the choice of materials, durability, use of resources, technical integration and operational requirements, and integrate these elements into the design concept. Architecture, interior design, product design, communication design and motion design interplay wherever it makes sense for the project. This results in solutions that are atmospherically compelling whilst also being durable, cost-effective and feasible.
