GRID X combines luxury, lifestyle and performance to create a multi-experience destination. For Engelhorn, we developed a 5,000 m² fashion universe featuring six planets and a sun – an inspiring shopping experience encompassing fashion, sport, art, dining and mobility in the heart of Luxembourg.

The fashion universe
A multi-sensory experience space was curated across 5,000 square metres of open space. Strategic analyses, functional requirements of shopfitting and knowledge about future expectations of physical spaces - spaces that can be experienced with all the senses - as an antithesis to the purely digital surface - were brought together in this fashion universe. Seven planets and the sun offer space for discovery. Their natural characteristics shape materials, shapes, colours and lighting moods and can be experienced both spatially and materially.
Saturn
A powerful and elegant atmosphere unfolds on Saturn as the perfect stage for the men's premium segment. Named after the god Kronos, the planet stands for responsibility and power. A whiskey bar tells the myth of the meeting of the gods and invites customers to enjoy an exclusive drink. Round, enclosing and centring elements in warm, brownish colours reflect the design of Saturn.
Moon
Through the phases of the moon, customers land on the moon. Luxurious brands present their creations with elegance and exclusivity. The magical backdrop makes every item of clothing shine. A minimalist, metallic style with clear lines creates an abstract, otherworldly feeling in the room. The lustre of the moon creates a breathtaking atmosphere.
Jupiter
Jupiter presents shoes and accessories in an atmospheric setting. The god Zeus emerges from Jupiter and epitomises adventure and sensual love. The story of love between mankind and fashion takes centre stage on a media wall. The atmospheric layers of the planet are reflected in layered and textured materials.
Neptune
The shopping experience of the modern man is transformed into a profound journey to the planet Neptune. Poseidon, the god of the sea, embodies visionary thinking and depth. In a blue, clear and modern space, fashion is enhanced with inspiring energy.
Sun
The god Helios, son of the sun, illuminates the fashion experience with divine elegance. He lets the premium woman shine and lifts her style to heavenly heights. Sun-kissed golden accents, yellow elements and warm light flood the room.
Earth
Customers travel through the universe and discover the natural sensuality and humanity of the earth. Gaia, the mother of life, reveals luxurious shoes and accessories where practicality meets imagination. A bar-café invites you to savour exquisite drinks and a selection of cold delicacies. The natural, earthy, soft design blends with the more structural, harder, human architecture.
