Strong as an ox
Working together with the owners, a plan of action was drawn up for the renovation and extension of the winery. In addition to repositioning and strengthening the brand, a utilisation concept has been drawn up for the existing buildings and the new development, which transforms the Bär Winery into an all-round experience for visitors – and firmly links the estate to Bacharach’s cultural heritage.
The Bear Hall
In addition to the existing historic buildings, the estate is to be expanded with a new building that, in the truest sense of the word, has it all. This is where the entire processing of grapes from the Middle Rhine region will take place: from delivery through filtration, pressing and sedimentation to the fermentation process and the final bottling, corking and labelling of the wines. In the Bärenhalle, visitors can experience how a special grape is transformed into a special wine.
Winery in the mountains
