The temporary layout of the Dornbirn Exhibition Park is becoming a vibrant hub of change. Temporary wayfinding, clear communication and thoughtful design provide guidance, bridge the gap between the existing and the future, and bring change to life. In this way, the transition itself becomes a space for encounters, movement and new possibilities.

Between the familiar and the new
The Messepark is changing step by step – right in the midst of everyday life. Rather than concealing the redevelopment, it is deliberately made part of the experience. Temporary signage, site communications, rest areas and spatial interventions provide guidance and ensure that visitors can move about naturally and feel at ease, even whilst construction is underway.
Finding one’s bearings in a time of change
When routes change and spaces are reorganised, design becomes a guiding force. Clear information and intuitive wayfinding help visitors to find their way around safely and effortlessly, even whilst the premises are in operation.
A Shifting Identity
Change is movement – visible, tangible, always in the making. Through motion design, we translate the transformation of the Messepark into a visual narrative comprising typography, rhythm, surface and space. Change gives rise to a visual language of its own, which not only shows what is to come, but also turns the process itself into an experience.
From a building site to a message
Construction sites signal change even before the new development is visible. With clear, brand-specific communication at the site, barriers become sources of information and transitional spaces take on a distinct character. In this way, the Messepark remains visible, understandable and accessible even whilst undergoing change.
